About Eagle Hostel

The Eagle Home Hostel is located about 35 miles southwest of downtown Milwaukee, and 45 miles southeast of Madison. In the Kettle Moraine Forest, Southern Unit, the hostel is adjacent to the Ice Age National Scenic Trail, in Wisconsin a 1,000 mile hiking trail, which follows the terminal moraine left by the glacier more than 10,000 years ago. Located in Waukesha County on State Highway 59 between the historic Villages of Eagle and Palmyra, in the scenic Township of Eagle, the Eagle Home Hostel offers overnight comfort to travellers who enjoy nature and would enjoy a homestay experience! The hostel is found in an area perfect for activities such as birding, bicycling, canoeing, cross-country skiing, hiking, or horseback riding. Old World Wisconsin, a state historic site, is nearby.

  • Open: Year 'round; purchase park vehicle stickers at the hostel at nominal cost.
  • Cost per night: $15 for members and $18 for non-members plus tax

  • Facilities: Shared kitchen, on-site parking, nature trails
  • Groups: Welcome! Reservations are required.
  • Payment method: Cash or check only. No credit cards
  • Note: No public transportation available.
